This web conference describes what PPICS is and why it exists. An overview of the
data collection modules (Competition Overview, Grantee Profile, and the APR) that make
up PPICS is provided as well as an outline of the role of the state in ensuring that the
PPICS reporting process is accurately completed by grantees.
21st CCLC PPICS: Orientation to the Pilot (April 2009)
"The Pilot" refers to the collection of student-level data conducted during the
200809 APR year. Student-level data collection will be optional for all states
during the 200910 APR Year. The web conference includes an explanation of the
benefits of student-level data collection and an introduction to the two methods
utilized in entering student-level data.
