Web Conferences

There are several PPICS web conferences (webinars) available for viewing. These are listed below (click each webinar's title to open the recording). As new webinars are recorded, the recordings will be posted on this page.

All notifications for web conferences hosted by Learning Point Associates are sent via e-mail to state- and grant-level coordinators, as appropriate for the content of the web conference. For more information about web-based trainings, please see In-Person Trainings under the PPICS Support menu.

Using the Reports: Grantee Web Tutorial (Fall 2008)
The Grantee Web Tutorial provides an overview of the new PPICS reports for grantees. Topics covered include how to access and review the new site-level and grantee-level reports, and suggestions for using the reports for program improvement, evaluation, and sustainability.

Using the Reports: State Coordinator Web Tutorial (Fall 2008)
The State Coordinator Web Tutorial provides an overview of the new PPICS state-level reports. Included is a discussion of the state functions of reports such as monitoring and encouraging grantees to work on reports.

Orientation for new State Users of PPICS - Part I (October 2008)
Orientation for new State Users of PPICS - Part II (November 2008)
This web conference describes what PPICS is and why it exists. An overview of the data collection modules (Competition Overview, Grantee Profile, and the APR) that make up PPICS is provided as well as an outline of the role of the state in ensuring that the PPICS reporting process is accurately completed by grantees.

21st CCLC PPICS: Orientation to the Pilot (April 2009)
"The Pilot" refers to the collection of student-level data conducted during the 2008–09 APR year. Student-level data collection will be optional for all states during the 2009–10 APR Year. The web conference includes an explanation of the benefits of student-level data collection and an introduction to the two methods utilized in entering student-level data.
